The Rwanda Inspectorate, Competition, and Consumer Protection Authority (RICA) has introduced three crucial business services on the IremboGov platform.
These services include Product Registration, Business Operator License, and Premises registration. By incorporating these services, RICA aims to streamline the regulatory compliance process for businesses operating in Rwanda.
These services have been optimized for efficiency, with digital application processes which will reduce the necessity for in-person visits simplifying the process for businesses.
- Product Registration
This service enables businesses that sell or manufacture fertilizers, chemical pesticides, and bio-pesticides to undergo efficacy trials to ensure their products meet RICA's safety and quality standards. Upon successful completion of trials, businesses receive a Product Registration Certificate, granting market access in Rwanda.
