The Rwandan community has been invited to the world’s most fascinating economy to showcase the country’s potential in this year’s largest shopping exhibition due December 13 to March 1 in Dubai.

"Rwandans are very welcome. Rwanda has great potential in tea.

Actually Dubai has a tea-trading centre. We want as many African countries to participate as much as possible,” Jalal Balala, a prominent businessman in Dubai, charged with sourcing for prospective exhibitors in East Africa, said early this week.

Balala said that Rwanda and other African countries would take advantage to advertise, market, promote themselves to the ‘Global Village’ with over five million people world wide expected to attend.

He explained: "You can sell from day one as much as 10  ontainers of coffee or 10,000 packages of travel tours.

Maximum duty is only 5 percent on any item even a huge piece of Diamond or Gemstone.

A ready-to-exhibit stand of (9 square miles) will cost you only $3,000 for the entire duration of 80 days.

Government institutions can rotate their staff and presentations every week.”
