The Rwanda Association of Local Government Authorities (Ralga) is the latest entrant into the war against corruption.
The body over the weekend launched an anti-corruption campaign aimed at ensuring better service delivery among local leaders.
The campaign kicked off with Kicukiro District in Kigali City.
Speaking at a workshop that brought together over 200 local leaders from 10 sectors of the district, the speaker of the district council François Xavier Karekezi condemned corrupt officials and warned the rogue of the law will catch up with them.
Ralga communication programme manager Peter Karasira said that the new campaign involves demanding local leaders to be accountable to the electorate.
