Celebrating Yvan Buravan: Who will perform at inaugural Twaje Fest?

More than 16 artists are lined up to perform at the Twaje Fest, a special evening solely dedicated to celebrate late musician Yvan Buravan.

The likes of Alyn Sano, Nel Ngabo, Man Martin, Jules Sentore, Ish Kevin, Ariel Wayz and Boukuru are among artistes who will hit the stage during the star-studded concert which will take place at BK Arena on October 26.

"The team has crafted a special moment during the event, offering attendees another chance to connect with Yvan Buravan,” Khamiss Sango, one of the festival organisers, told The New Times.

"During the experience, attendees will have the opportunity to discover some of his brand-new songs and witness exclusive moments celebrating his artistic journey,” he added.

A day packed with performances, cultural exhibitions, and opportunities for networking is promoted by the YB Foundation. It will feature the foundation's flagship ‘Turikumwe Campaign’, which focuses on raising awareness about cancer.

"Attendees will have the opportunity to receive free cancer screenings and consultations, conducted by healthcare professionals present at the event. This unique combination of cultural celebration and health advocacy highlights the YB Foundation’s commitment to not only preserving Rwandan traditions but also ensuring the well-being of the community,” said Sango.

"The foundation aims to ensure that Rwanda’s rich traditions are passed on to future generations. We strive to instill culture, pride, and awareness among young people, ensuring the vibrant tradition of Rwanda is preserved.”

The event will also provide valuable networking opportunities, bringing together ministers, entrepreneurs, healthcare professionals, artists, and community members. The wide array of attendees includes notable figures from Rwanda and abroad.

"Twaje Experience will not only be a cultural showcase but also a platform for building connections that can benefit the Rwandan youth and broader community,” he said.
