The 2024 FIBA Africa regional youth camp will take place in the cities of Douala, Cameroon and Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire.
The two four-day camp, which is a collaboration between FIBA Africa and the National Basketball Association (NBA), will provide young athletes born in 2008 and 2009, along with their coaches, the opportunity to benefit from top-level training.
The program will focus on improving both individual and team skills, while promoting essential values such as teamwork, hard work and commitment.

As in the previous edition, FIBA Africa will host two separate camps.
The first, exclusively for boys, will take place at the Japoma Sports Complex gymnasium in Douala, Cameroon, from October 14-17 while the second camp, dedicated to girls, will be held at the Palais des Sports de Treichville in Abidjan from October 21 to 24.
For the present edition, the fourth one since 2021, a partnership agreement between regional offices has led to FIBA Africa joining forces with FIBA Americas, with the latter providing technical and educational expertise to enhance the camp's unique character.
Participants will not only receive high-level coaching but also benefit from the guidance of experts from one of the most dynamic basketball associations in the world.

Designed to nurture young African basketball talents, FIBA Youth Camps aim to shape the next generation of players on the continent. In addition to honing technical and physical skills, FIBA Africa seeks to instill values of solidarity and community in the young athletes, qualities essential to both their sporting and personal success.
The camps are part of FIBA Africa’s development program and have impacted 80% of African countries since 2021.
