I&M Bank Rwanda has confirmed its participation in the upcoming Rwanda Europe Diaspora Retreat, scheduled to take place from October 4-6, 2024, in Denmark. This annual event draws members of the Rwandan diaspora from across Europe to discuss how they can contribute to their country’s development.
At this year’s retreat, I&M Bank will present its comprehensive Diaspora Banking offering designed to help Rwandans abroad invest in and engage with Rwanda’s economy. These services include Diaspora Accounts, savings accounts with competitive returns, and remittance solutions that make transacting back home easier and more secure. Through these offerings, Rwandans abroad can participate in the country's economic progress without the need to be physically present.
A key focus of I&M Bank’s engagement will be its remittance products, which offer secure and convenient ways for the diaspora to send money back home. Whether supporting family, making investments, or contributing to community projects, these solutions provide a reliable means for transferring funds. The bank’s digital channels enable Rwandans abroad to access these services with ease, ensuring they stay connected to their home country.
"We aim to make it as simple as possible for Rwandans living abroad to participate in the economic transformation of Rwanda,” said Fiona Kamikazi, Head of Marketing and Communications at I&M Bank. "Our remittance products and digital platforms allow the diaspora to transact back home effortlessly, while our Diaspora Banking services ensure they can save and invest in Rwanda’s future.”
The Rwanda Europe Diaspora Retreat will give I&M Bank a platform to explain how its tailored products can help members of the diaspora actively contribute to the country’s development.
