Rwanda’s professional golfers Emmanuel Ruterana and Jean Baptist Hakizimana are in Uganda for a two-day MTN sponsored monthly mug.

The pair, which left Kigali yesterday, starts its quest this morning alongside a legion of about eight Ugandan professionals at Uganda’s Kitante Golf course.

Ruterana, who is still looking for a permanent sponsorship deal has been bank-rolled by Computer Point.

"I appreciate their support and I don’t think I would have travelled without their support,” he said.

The prize money on offer was still unknown by press time.
