Editor, Customer care still rears its ugly face in the country of a thousand hills. Ours is a beautiful one however, this beauty is not always portrayed by her people. Surveys prove that we are losing money because of our own attitude towards visitors.

Customer care still rears its ugly face in the country of a thousand hills. Ours is a beautiful one however, this beauty is not always portrayed by her people. Surveys prove that we are losing money because of our own attitude towards visitors.

Most shocking, the survey, which was done by external experts, spoke of our poor attitude and coldness towards guests. From our culture we have been groomed to give our visitors the best of treatment.

What is wrong? Have we lost our culture? Why should the visitors complain? A visitor shouldn’t be treated poorly. As they reach deep in their pockets, and therefore help our economic performance, let us not forget to reach deep into our hearts and provide the warmest of welcome to these esteemed guests.
