Musanze football club kept their dream of playing top flight football together after Sunday’s narrow 2-1 win over Union at Ferwafa.

Jean Claude Kwizera put Union ahead with a neatly taken header but a brace from Musanze’s star striker Djano Hatekimana sealed off a very crucial win for the Northern Province club.

Musanze now hold a seven point cushion at the top of Group A with 26 points followed by Nyanza with 19 points and Military with 17 points.

Musanze’s Coach Rafiki Nshiyimana could be pleased with the team’s winning streak but still insists that it’s not over until it’s over.

"We still have along way to go before we can celebrate. We need to keep our feet on the ground and continue grinding out such wins even when it’s difficult,” he said.
