It will be a battle for the summit of the Rwanda Premier League when Gorilla FC hosts Mukura Victory Sports at Kigali Pele Stadium on Friday, at 3 PM.

Mukura is in the fifth position, while Gorilla is in sixth. Both teams have seven points, just three behind league leaders Police FC who have garnered 10 points so far.

A win for either Mukura or Gorilla will see one of the teams equal Police’s 10 points. However, to leapfrog the law enforcers from the top position, the winning team needs a huge goal margin of at least eight goals, since Police FC boasts a superior goal difference of eight goals.

In a media interview, Alain Kirasa, the head coach of Gorilla FC, said he expects a tough game against Mukura. He called upon his charges to play their best and get a good result.

"The players are hungry to win not only the game on Friday but also every game in the league,” he said.

Elsewhere, Bugesera FC will host Gasogi United at Bugesera Stadium on Friday, at 3 PM as well, while on Saturday, Muhazi United will be up against AS Kigali, Rutsiro FC will take on Rayon Sports, and Musanze FC will pay against Marines FC.
