AS Kigali Women's Football Club striker Coralie Odette Nguema says the 5-2 defeat to Rayon Sports Women in the 2024 FERWAFA Super Cup was not what they expected.

The talented Gabonese international gave the Citizens a 2-1 lead before half time with a superb strike, but Rayon Sports fought their way back into the game scoring four times in the second half to win the game 5-2.

"Honestly, this wasn&039;t the scoreline we were expecting but this is football, it doesn't follow logic and we simply get used to it," Nguema told Times Sport.

Nguema was one of the best players on the day leading the AS Kigali WFC attack. With her giant stature, she was very effective playing as the lone striker upfront.
