For many, watching a movie could be a way of relaxing, but for others, it’s an opportunity to learn new things or appreciate the artistry of a well-made film.

The Matrix
This is a complex film that you might need to watch three times to fully understand, but it's worth it because it's filled with action and explores the nature of reality. This science fiction film stars one of the best actors, Keanu Reeves.
The Matrix is a computer-generated dream world created to keep humans under control. The story follows Neo, played by Keanu Reeves, who believes that Morpheus, played by Laurence Fishburne, can answer his question: What is the Matrix? Neo is then contacted by Trinity, played by Carrie-Anne Moss, who leads him into an underworld where he meets Morpheus.
Together, they battle intelligent secret agents, led by Agent Smith, played by Hugo Weaving, who is determined to destroy Zion and prevent humans from escaping the Matrix.
The movie has four parts, including The Matrix, The Matrix Reloaded, The Matrix Revolutions, and The Matrix Resurrections.
A Beautiful Boy
This film tells the emotional story of a father and son's bond. The son, Nicolas "Nic" Sheff, played by Timothée Chalamet, becomes a drug addict, and his father, David Sheff, played by Steve Carell, faces challenges while trying to help him overcome addiction.
Things become even more difficult when Nic starts using crystal meth. The film is based on true events, with Nic Sheff’s memoir about his struggle titled Tweak: Growing Up on Methamphetamines and David Sheff’s memoir called Beautiful Boy.
The Truman Show
Also starring Jim Carrey, the film can be seen as a comedy or a disturbing movie. It tells the story of Truman Burbank, who has been lied to his entire life, as everything he experiences is staged and broadcasted to the world.
Truman is selected at birth and adopted by a television studio due to an unwanted pregnancy. He is the unwitting star of The Truman Show, a reality program filmed 24/7 with hidden cameras. His life is controlled by the show's executive director, including the weather. Truman’s world is populated by actors and crew members who keep him from discovering the truth.
The Grand Budapest Hotel
Wes Anderson’s films are known for their excellent cinematography and unique style, and The Grand Budapest Hotel is no exception. This film won several awards for Best Picture at the Academy Awards and is often regarded as Wes Anderson’s best work.
It tells the story of the Grand Budapest Hotel, a popular European ski resort in the 1930s, managed by guard Gustave H. Zero, a junior lobby boy, becomes Gustave’s friend and protégé. Gustave takes pride in providing top-notch service to guests, including catering to the romantic needs of the elderly women who stay there. When one of his lovers dies mysteriously, Gustave inherits a priceless painting and becomes the prime suspect in her murder.
BoJack Horseman
This is an animated show that cleverly adds humor to adult situations. It follows BoJack, a horse who is like a human, struggling with self-loathing and alcoholism. He was famous in the '90s as the star of a sitcom where he played a father to three orphaned kids. The show was incredibly popular but was eventually canceled. Now, 18 years later, BoJack wants to reclaim his life and reputation.
With help from a human friend and his ex-girlfriend, a cat who is also his agent, he tries to make a comeback, but he finds it hard to adapt to the changes in Hollywood, including social media.
