Sharks vs Lion de Fer (2pm)-Rugunga

Lion de Fer is hoping to leapfrog Sharks on the national rugby league table when the two sides lock horns this afternoon at Rugunga.

The three-time league champions, fourth on the table with five points are a point adrift of Sharks but a win today would leave them second.

Lion de Fer coach Jean de la Paix Hategekimana is optimistic his side can get their result they need.

"We are looking for a convincing win, that can edge us closer to league leaders Buffaloes.”Hategekimana told Times Sport.

Buffaloes are at the helm with 14 points, followed by UNR Grizzlies with seven points.
