Amavubi and Cyprus based defender Hamad Ndikumana has linked up with the national team ahead of Rwanda’s World Cup qualifier against Zambia on June 6.

Ndikumana popularly known as Katauti jetted in on Friday and immediately joined Tucak Branko’s provisional side for some light work out.

Katauti is the second pro to link up with Amavubi after Belgium-based midfielder Jimmy Mulisa, who reported to camp on Wednesday.

Fresh reports also indicate that the pro trio of Jules Cesar Oulai (Union Saint-Gilloise), Jean Paul Lutula (Brussels) and Jean Paul Kielo Lezi (Brussels) should join the squad during the course of this week. Saddou Boubakary (Libya) and Skipper Olivier Karekezi (Ham Kam) are also expected here before the team sets off to Malawi for the friendly encounter on May 31.

Rwanda drew their first qualifier against Algeria and need a good result in Zambia to keep their qualification hopes alive.

Rwanda is drawn in Group C alongside Egypt, Zambia and Algeria.

Egypt will play away to Algeria on June 7 in a Northern Africa affair.
