Kampayana is the Director of Public Awareness in the National Identification (NID) Project. Below he tells us about his Perfect Weekend: Since I leave office very late on Friday, I start my weekend on Saturday. I start the day relaxed as I share ideas with my family which I miss during these other days of the week.

After breakfast, I drive to Nyagatare in the Eastern province where I meet my mother and other relatives. Although I may enjoy a perfect weekend with my family in Kigali, when I reach at my mothers place it becomes really perfect. She (mum) treats me the way she used to.

She brings back the memories and prepares some thing which is of my interest. This makes me to remember those days at home. I then move around to check on my cattle rearing to make sure project that everything goes on smoothly.

Depending on the programme, I always return to Kigali on Saturday. On Sunday, I go to church. I also spend most of my time at home. I read some books in my free time as I prepare the next day’s programme.

That makes my weekend perfect.
