Mukura Victory Sports picked their first three maximum points at home in the 2024/25 Rwanda Premier League after defeating Vision FC 2-1 at Huye Stadium on Sunday, September 22.
The encounter proved highly competitive as both sides exhibited quality football throughout the 90 minutes.
Mukura got an early lead after just two minutes of action through former APR youngster Justin Irumva. The early goal unsettled Vision FC as the home side pushed for more.

Ghanaian striker Agyenim Boateng Mensah made it 2-0 for Mukura with a fabulous finish in the 10th minute as they continued their dominance.
Vision FC gradually warmed themselves into the game as they began making incursions into the opponent’s half from the quarter hour mark.
Defender Stephen Bonney reduced the deficit for the visitors with a superb effort in the 22nd minute as they begun to come into the picture.
With the scores at 2-1 in favour of Mukura, both teams held on in the second half as their back four defended gallantly.
The victory was Mukura&039;s first at home this season after losing 1-0 to Gasogi and drawing 0-0 with Etincelles.
Elsewhere, at Kigali Pele Stadium, Alex Karenzo netted the only goal of the game as Gorilla FC pipped Marines 1-0.
