Rayon Sports head coach Roberto Oliveira Goncalves do Carmo, popularly known as "Robertinho,” has said that the game with Gasogi United on Saturday, September 21, is a good preparatory outing before their clash with APR on October 19.

The experienced Brazilian tactician is confident that the week 4 league encounter with Gasogi will put them in a good shape for their rescheduled week 3 game with the defending champions APR.

"The game with Gasogi is very important for us as it will also help us to tidy the loopholes in our team before we face APR." Robertinho told the press.

The veteran Brazilian tactician also took a dig at Gasogi, saying they are a small team.

"The preparations are good and we hope to win the game on Saturday. Gasogi is a small team and not like Rayon Sports, because we don't have the same goals. They will only come to get three points, while for us, we want the three points but we are also competing for the cup."

The last four league encounters between the two teams since December 2022 have seen both teams winning two games apiece.

Gasogi are currently on top of the Rwanda Premier League table with 7 points after 2 wins and 1 draw in 3 games.
