The second edition of East Africa Fusion is upon us, offering a platform for live music concerts featuring artists from across the region.

This event celebrates the rich tapestry of cultures, traditions, and languages through music. Join in this Friday, September 20, at the Centre Culturel Francophone du Rwanda for performances by Jimmystar, Eli Maliki, Love Paccy, and Ella Rings.

The concert runs from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with entry priced at Rwf 10,000.

Narratives of African Stories Art Exhibition

This Friday, September 20, join fellow art enthusiasts for Season 2 of the Narratives of African Stories exhibition at Sundays Art Hub, located at 56 KG 10 Ave.

Curated by Elisa Niyogisubizo, this event showcases the power of African storytelling through visual art.

This year, the exhibition features a stunning collection of paintings and photography from 14 East African artists hailing from Rwanda and DR Congo.

Talented artists such as Myriam Birara, Elisa Niyogisubizo, Romeo Niyigena, Doux Free, Ismael Kwizera, Igore Ygo, and many others will present their work.

Through their diverse artistic expressions, these artists explore narratives that connect tradition and modernity, inviting viewers to engage with the complexities of our shared history.

The opening day will also include a panel discussion in the evening, focusing on local art, the art market, and artist professionalism, fostering dialogue among artists, art lovers, and the community about the future of art in the region.

Legendary traditional musician Mushabizi Jean Marie Vianey will perform, and the event runs from 5:00 p.m. until late.

Fiesta at Lavana Rwanda

Kigali is about to embrace a vibrant wave of rhythm and energy with Lavana's new monthly dance party, "Fiesta." This event will feature a lively mix of Dancehall, Soca, Afro, and Latin beats, showcasing some of the city's top DJs.

Join in this Saturday, September 21, as DJs Dawee, Boben, Lyynduh, and Munkl take to the stage at 8 p.m., delivering their signature remixes and infectious blends. Attendees are encouraged to wear bright colors and bring their dancing shoes.

Tickets are priced at Rwf5,000. If you're in the mood for a day filled with delicious dishes from Lavana Kigali—think pizza, burritos, tacos, salads, and cocktails—this is the place to be!

Amapiano Ipathii

Groovers, get ready to experience the essence of Amapiano this Saturday, September 21, with Groove Kigali as they unveil their latest venue for the Ipathii at Lemon Kigali, KG 623 ST.

Prepare for a lineup featuring DJs June, Grvnd Lvng, and Cad, bringing you the best of the genre. Arrive early to enjoy the Ipathii promotion from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.: buy two beers (excluding Heineken) and get one free, plus a 15 percent discount on all cocktail jugs.

By attending, guests agree to be photographed and recorded; images and videos may be used by Groove Kigali and their partners for promotional purposes. Entry is Rwf 10,000, and the theme for the evening is denim and white.

BetPawa Finals

As Rwanda's basketball league season approaches its climax, the finals continue this Friday, September 20, at BK Arena.
