Jean Felix Mwizerwa, the B2B Manager at CANAL+ Rwanda, said that the company’s ambition is to ensure a cosmopolitan service offering, particularly in a country that is seeing rapid growth in tourism and international visitors.

He noted: "Rwanda is a bilingual country, but most visitors are Anglophone. It’s the perfect time to offer English channels in hotel rooms, ensuring guests can enjoy their stay. Customers can choose English channels, but French channels are also available, allowing for a combined package.”

"Imagine someone who doesn’t understand French spending a week watching only French channels! We addressed this based on requests from hotel customers for more English options. We wanted to ensure that when guests are in Rwanda, they have a great experience to the fullest,” he added

Mwizerwa explained that the difference between CANAL+ business customers (such as hotels, apartments, and hospitals) and individual customers is the ability to customise the channels they offer.

"For instance, if a customer wants to provide only sports channels, they can do so. They can also select a combination of sports and movie channels to suit their preferences. CANAL+ allows business customers to create personalised packages based on their clients’ needs.”

Additionally, CANAL+ Business provides all materials at no cost, along with free installation. This system enables channels to be streamed throughout the premises, and customers can change the channels as they wish.
