Midfielder Bonheur Mugisha says he is "feeling good” and "adapting well” at his new club Stade Tunisien of Tunisia.
The Rwanda international joined the Tunisian top tier club in early September as a free agent after his contract with former side AS Marsa expired in June.
Times Sport understand that he was offered a sign on fee in excess of USD 100, 000 (over Rwf 130 million) to put pen to paper for a two-year deal.
"I feel good and adapting to life at my new club. It’s a wonderful opportunity to join my new team an everything is going well, especially in training and I am getting to be used to the new environment,” Mugisha told Times Sport.
"I am here to prove myself that I can play at a higher level and the first week has been good so far. Now it is time to play with maturity and show what I have so that I can keep moving forward.”

As he embarks on new chapter with Stade Tunisien, the former APR FC defensive midfielder has vowed to improve his level and help the club to achieve more in the new season.
"It is time to work and show what I can help for the club. It is new opportunity and new journey and I am ready to embrace it,” he said.
Mugisha is one of the graduates of Heroes football academy in Mayange-Bugesera District. He joined the academy at the age of 15 and, after impressing the coaches, he was promoted to the senior team after two years.
In 2019, during his first year in the second division, he helped Heroes to finish in fourth position. The following season they finished in second position and the team was promoted to the top flight league.
But the club was relegated in the 2019/20 season after a poor run of results pushing the player out of the club to join Mukura victory sport on loan.
Mugisha enjoyed two successful seasons with the Huye-based club and his stellar performance during the 2020/21 season attracted the attention of APR FC who eventually signed him on a two-year contract until 2023.
The impressive midfielder was a key figure in Amavubi. He also played for Al Ahli Tripoli of Libya.
