Renowned traditional singer Jules Icyoyitungiye, popularly known as Jules Sentore, has unveiled plans to perform in different countries of Europe during a music tour on the continent dubbed ‘Gakondo Yacu’.
The development comes after the premiere of ‘Hinga’, Sentore’s recently released track, produced in a fusion of the amapiano genre and Rwandan traditional sounds, and is now topping Kigali charts.
Speaking to local media, Sentore said that confirmed countries for his tour include Belgium, France, Germany and Poland, adding that they may increase based on on-going discussions with tour organisers.

The tour will run from October 15, 2022 to November 30, and will feature Brianne Gateka, famously known as DJ Briane in the local music industry, among other disc jockeys based in Europe.
‘Gakondo Yacu’ is organised by Sentore’s label Kwanda Music alongside Fusion Events, a renowned event management firm which invited Davis D among other Rwandan artistes to perform in Europe.
"These concerts are aimed at reviving Rwandan culture among Diaspora communities,” Sentore said.
Sentore further noted that he is also doing final touches on his new album which will drop after the tour.
The ‘Warakoze’ hit-maker has won the hearts of cultural and R&B music fans, backed by his strong vocals. He rose to stardom after the release of his first album in 2013 dubbed ‘Muraho Neza’, and later made hits like ‘Udatsikira’, ‘Ruca Imana’, ‘Kora Akazi Akayama’ and many more featuring other artistes.
He has also participated in major competitions like Primus Guma-Guma Super Star and been nominated for Salax Awards.
