KIGALI COMEDY LOVERS will have their ribs cracking at the highly anticipated one-man comedy show by one of Rwanda’s finest comedians, Patrick Rusine, slated for August 28, at Camp Kigali.
Dubbed "Inkuru ya Rusine”, the comedy show is being organised by Arthur Nation, that also organises Seka Live, an annual comedy event that has successfully established a big name in the comedy scene.
"I am thrilled because not only because is it my first time but also the fact that it has never been done by any comedian of my generation. Only comedians Arthur and Seburikoko have staged a one- man show and being the next comedian to do so is both an honor and frightening,” says Rusine.
"I will have a full hour performance and that makes me a bit nervous because it is the first time but as usual, I will give my audience a special and unique performance. I have been preparing well for my performance so I hope comedy lovers will come to support me and enjoy a fun filled experience with plenty jokes of in store for them,” he adds.
Rusine noted that the show will host three to four opening comedians performing on stage before his one-hour performance that is highly anticipated by many comedy lovers.
The funny man last performed at Seka Live in May, and left revelers laughing throughout his time on stage. Rusine stole the show and outshone all the comedians on stage.
Tickets to the ‘Inkuru ya Rusine’ show are already on sale on RG consult website; ordinary tickets go for Rwf5, 000, Rwf10, 000 for VIP and Rwf15, 000 for VVIP.
