The U-20 national boys’ team have started training ahead of the Junior Africa Nations Championship that will be held in August 20-27 at BK Arena.
The team is coached by Antoine Ntabangayimana and are in camp at Sovu, Huye district.
"The preparations are going on well, our target is to make our country proud and we need to keep working hard to raise our level of playing and looking forward to do well in the junior Africa nations Championship,” Ntabangayimana said.
The U-20 teams are categorized in two groups. Rwanda is placed in Group A alongside Tunisia, Morocco, Angola and the Central African Republic.
The six nations that will qualify in the juniors Africa nations Championship will represent the continent during the U-21 World championship in 2023.
