The ongoing Rwandan transfer window has seen clubs making some big signings whereas others have also been very quiet in the market.
So far, Rayon Sports leads the pack with as many as eleven signings whereas their main rivals APR, FC, Kiyovu and AS Kigali have also made some additions.
With a few weeks to the end of the window, Times Sport takes a look at the five biggest signings so far this window.
Eric Ngendahimana: Kiyovu Sports to Rayon
The experienced centre-back has reunited with his former coach Francis Haringingo at Kiyovu Sports.
Despite his recent injury problems, Ngendahimana possess lots of quality and he will bring stability to Rayon Sports defense which was one of their main problems last season.
Clement Niyigena: Rayon Sports to APR
Niyigena was massive for Rayon Sports last season despite the club’s patchy form and he has been snapped up by APR FC.
The youngster has to battle Omborenga Fitina for a starting berth whereas his transfer could also be as a future long term replacement for the experienced lateral defender.
In any case, Niyigena is a massive signing as the Army club are well covered on the right rear with him and Fitina.
Nsengiyumva Isaac: Rayon Sports to Musanze
The talented midfielder did not really have much playing time during his one-year stay with Rayon Sports and that contributed to his move to Musanze.
Nsengiyumva on any day possess enough quality and his talent has shown right from his days in the Ugandan league.
At Musanze, adequate playing time is assured which will go a long way to benefit him and the club as a whole.
Fiston Ishimwe: Marines to APR
Ishimwe was one of the best players in the league last season netting ten goals despite playing for a mid-table club.
His addition to the APR midfield will make the team stronger as they hope to go all out in the CAF Champions League and also maintain their domestic league trophy next season.
Iddrisa Niyitegeka: Musanze FC to Gasogi
The Musanze FC skipper joined Kigali based Gasogi FC after being released by the club in the ongoing window.
With his experience and leadership qualities, Idrissa is a big signing for Gasogi as they hope to improve their performance next season.
He previously also featured for Isonga, Kiyovu Sports and Bugesera FC.
