Friday Kigali Titans vs Orion 9pm
It will be an epic battle when Kigali Titans face rivals Orion in the playoffs of the second division of national basketball league on Friday, July 22 at BK Arena.
The final will be played in a "best of three series” format where the two opponents will play two games against each other, and if one team wins both, it will be declared champion.
However, should they win one game each, they will then have to play a third match which will be the ultimate decider of who walks away with the title.
The Friday game kicks-off at 9pm and the two sides are expected to put in lots of effort to try and win it and make their chances of winning the title clearer.
Cyrille Kalima’s Titans advanced to the finals after defeating Flame basketball club while Orion advanced to the finals after beating Intare.
The Titans coach told Times Sport about how serious the game is.
"The slightest mistake can determine the winner and loser. We will ensure we avoid errors as much as possible.”
In a separate interview, Albert Buhake, the Head Coach of Orion said it is a crucial game and tough for both sides.
"We are going to give it our very best shot for victory, and everyone on the team is ready for the challenge.”
