It was an amazing evening for gospel music lovers who attended the third edition of ‘Worship Legacy' concert for the first time in the Covid- 19 pandemic Era.
The concert which was organised by BAHAFRICA Ent and Gisubizo Ministry took place on July 10 at Christian Life Assembly (CLA) church located in Nyarutarama.
The show was headlined by Gisubizo Ministry whose performances were dominated by new songs.
Furthermore, the concert also featured various gospel sensations Bosco Nshuti, Alarm ministry, Aime Frank, Shekinah Worship Team, and Jessica Mucyowera.
At around 5 PM Shekinah Worship Team started the concert and was the one to open the flow. After performing various songs, Jessica stepped on the stage and sang for the big number of revellers who turned up for the concert.
Gospel lovers enjoyed the show with the help of two Masters of Ceremony, among them renowned TV presenter Tracy Agasaro.
After a good performance by Mucyowera, the MC welcomed Aime Frank on stage to perform various songs he was saluted by the fans and started singing with him almost all the songs he performed.
Around 6:30 PM MC Agasaro welcomed one of the organisers Fleury Ndayirukiye, CEO of BAHAFRICA Ent, and his wife who further welcomed Gisubizo Ministry on stage where they performed various songs.
Their performance was dominated by new songs like 'Umuremyi', 'Humura' and 'Amaraso,' among others.
Gisubizo’s first performance lasted for an hour and left the stage at around 7:46 PM for the next performer Bosco Niyonshuti who blessed the revellers with his songs including ‘Umutima’ and ‘Ni Muri Yesu’ among others.
Next, Gisubizo came back on the stage and sang one song with Serge Rugamba Gasasira and after their performance, the revellers got time to listen to the word of God through scripture such as Romans 5:1.
After preaching time the president of Gisubizo Ministry, Justin Muhemeri took on and commended all the revealers for showing up.
He further said that it’s a blessing to be able to resume tge concert since for the past two years they were not able to do the concert due to the covid-19 pandemic.
At 8:48 PM, Gisubizo returned to the stage to sing their last song as they welcomed their elders in the industry, Alarm Ministry.
The ministry performed two good songs which marked the end of the event before the closing prayer by Bishop Fidele Masengo.
Neema Ingabire who attended the concert told The New Times that she had a wonderful time of worship with the help of various performances after not being able to see such a concert in the last two years.
Isaac Manzi, who also attended this show said it was a blessed night and a good time as well to worship with anointed people and thanked the organisers for making it happen.
Speaking to The New Times after the concert, organiser Ndayirukiye said that the concert succeeded as well as met their expectation.
Commenting on the way forward he shared that they are planning other events in the near future.
