The second division basketball championship is set to advance into the playoffs, where eight teams will rub shoulders to determine two teams that will be promoted to the top tier league next season.
This season was the first time that Rwanda had a lower basketball league.
The playoffs teams are; Flame, Inspire a Generation, The Hoops Rwanda, Orion, Kigali Titans, Intare, Elite Rwanda and Wibena.
A total of 17 teams from across the country took part in the league, vying for the two promotion slots into the 2022/23 topflight league.
Playoffs start Saturday, July 9. Winners from the single-game quarter-finals will advance to the semi-finals, to be played in a best-of-three format, from July 10 to 17.
The finals will be played on the weekend of July 22-24.
