KIVU FEST, one of the best beach parties in the country that attracts revellers from different regions, is making its return to Rwanda’s tourism calendar this weekend, and organisers have already announced the big line up of disc jockeys and artistes to grace the show.
This year’s edition is slated for July 2-3, in Rubavu District, at Kivu Lake Beach.
According to Intore Ent, the organisers of the annual show, the line-up of Kivu fest consists of both home grown artistes and big stars from around the world.
Among them is Atlanta based-Kenyan, Fully Focus, who will be behind the spin for the second time in Kivu Fest. The renowned Afro DJ graced the previous edition of the event in 2019, and opened the first edition of ‘Intore Sundays.’
He will be performing live alongside South African rapper and Amapiano hitmaker Costa Titch, who is behind the making of ‘Big Flexa,’ a track topping charts in Africa.
Costa recently confirmed his headlining act in Rwanda on all his social media accounts noting that he is thrilled to perform for the first time in Rwanda and can’t wait to party with Rwandans.
Other local DJs on the line up include fast rising deejays such as Higa & Rusam, a duo, the Kantona hitmaker, Pyfo, DJ Tyga, DJ Toxxyk, DJ Marnaud, Bood ups DJs, Lou, DJ Kalexx, Hottempah and DJ Kim.
In his recent Interview with The New Times, Bruce Intore, the brains behind the show, said that the preparations of the event are underway and almost done.
He said that this edition is special since the event spent almost three years in hiatus because of the outbreak of covid-19, noting that partygoers can now party on the lakeside and this weekend is the right time to have that experience in Rwanda again.
"This is going to be one of the most massive parties that ever took place in Gisenyi. We are ready to party in style with everyone,” Intore said
