Rwanda Energy Group Volleyball team head coach Kwizera Pierre Marshal has finished a second level training course in Nairobi, Kenya.

The one-week training course was organized by the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) which is the world volleyball governing body as they seek to upgrade volleyball coaches to better standards.

The course was conducted by Senior FVB Instructor Mustapha Ahchouche from Morocco and was assisted by Kenya’s FIVB Instructor Catherine Mabwi and CAVB Instructor Paul Bitok as they taught the coaches the new fundamentals of the game.

Kwizera was appointed as REG Volleyball team head coach in April this year on a two-year deal replacing Benon Mugisha Barayavuga and will be hoping to guide them to the title with the training he has gotten.

He was awarded a certificate by the organizers after completing the seven day program.
