The national basketball team will face Uganda in a friendly game this evening in Alexandria, Egypt, as part of intensive preparations for the upcoming qualifiers of the 2023 FIBA World cup which get underway from July 1-3 in Kigali.

The game kicks off 5pm Kigali time, at the Burj Al Arab Hall in Alexandria.

The team returns to Kigali on June 26 for the final preparations before the qualifiers begin.

Roster:

Ntore Habimana, Olivier Turatsinze, Jean de Dieu Umuhoza, Jean Jacques Wilson Nshobozwabyosenumukiza, Robeyns William, Bruno Nyamwasa and Steven Hagumintwari.

Others are Kenneth Gasana, Dieudonné Ndizeye Ndayisaba, Emile Galois Kazeneza, Axel Olenga Mpoyo, Cadeau de Dieu Furaha, Patrick Ngabonziza, Noah Bigirumwami and Kendall Lamar Gray.
