Property owners in Gitarama town have started refurbishing commercial buildings ahead of the Prime Minister’s visit.

Premier Bernard Makuza’s visit was slated for May 15 and 16, but it has been postponed according to district officials. His visit was intended to assess progress so far registered by the district.

In the same line The New Times learnt that  workers were making final touches on the newly transformed Engen Petrol Station,  which is one of the newest developments giving a new face to the town.
