Comedian and radio host Patrick Rusine has announced that his fiancée Iryn Nizra Uwase has given birth to a baby boy.

They named him Owen Mael Intwali.

The couple shared the news on Wednesday, September 11, via Rusine’s social media.

"Hi world! Meet Intwali," Rusine posted on his Instagram account on Wednesday, September 11.

They welcomed a child a month after Rusine proposed to Uwase on August 12, marking a new chapter in their relationship.

Rusine, known for his "drunk-inspired" jokes, has been active in the Rwandan comedy scene since 2021.

He has performed alongside household comedian Kibonge in shows like Seka Live and the Gen Z Comedy Show, a bimonthly comedy concert run by fellow comedian Fally Merci.

The couple, who have been publicly together since February, now embark on their journey into parenthood with the arrival of their son.
