COMEDY lovers should look forward to yet another memorable night in Kigali on Sunday June 26.
‘Seka Live’, a stand-up comedy show that aspires to host comedians around the world, is taking place for the second time after Covid-19 restrictions were lifted, and will be hosted by Arthur Nkusi at Onomo Hotel.
Rwandans were excited about the last ‘Seka Live’ show that featured Zimbabwean comedian Carl Joshua and South Africa’s Loyiso Madinga alongside other local comedians.
Eric Omondi will perform at the event slated for June 26.
Kenyan funnyman Eric Omondi will grace the coming ‘Seka Live’; he was last in Rwanda in 2019 where he performed during the same show alongside South Africa’s Loyiso Madinga.
Nkusi says that there are some local acts that are confirmed to perform alongside Omondi, like Herve Kimenyi. Patrick Rusine who stole the previous show at M Hotel with his drunk persona act, will also grace the show. The show will also have Comedy Knights’ Babu Joe light up the stage with his jokes.
Clapton Kibonke who is best known for his role in the comedy drama series ‘Seburikoko’ will also perform at the ‘Seka Live’ show.
The show will kick off at 5pm and tickets to the show are sold via the RG Consult website; Rwf 10,000 and Rwf 15,000 for regular and VIP seats respectively.
