MUSIC AND MEAT LOVERS of Kigali are in for a treat as they wait to experience the first show of music and nyama choma slated this Saturday, at PEGASE Rebero Resort.

With the help of Classic Business Group LTD and PEGASE Resort, the event will bring together only top disc jockeys in town including the now trending DJ duo, Rusam & Higa, Kantona’s hit maker DJ Pyfo, Nep DJs (Habz & Berto), Selecta Copain, DJ Infinity, and DJ Kiss among others.

Speaking about the show, Steven Rudasingwa, operations manager of Classics Business group said that the event is expected to be taking place every month as well as hosting the best DJs in town.

He said that following how Kigali’s night life is slowly recovering, organisers decided to bring innovation for partygoers and foodies by throwing an only music and barbecue party that will allow them to have a taste of both in one place.

"The aim behind this monthly event reflects its name. Friends and Barbecue was initiated to produce a good environment where friends can experience good music played by different DJs while enjoying nyama choma dishes of their choice,” he said. 

This, according to Rusadasingwa, will not only improve the party life of Kigali but also Rwandan music which will be the most played at the show.

Asked about the difference between Friends and Barbecue with other Barbecue events held in Rwanda, Rudasingwa clarified that this kind is the first to be taking place every month and hosting a number of disc jockeys in town.

"This is a pan-African music and lifestyle experience, and we are excited to be making it easier for music lovers and foodies within Kigali to party in a different way. It will be a great turn that one can’t afford to miss,” Rudasingwa added.

Admission to the Friends and Barbecue party is Rwf5, 000 before 10 pm and Rwf10, 000 after 10 pm.
