The deal offers Rwandatel access to the two companies’ unified communication and other enterprise products.
According to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Rwandatel, Patrick Kariningufu, this will enable customers get significant value from the better voice and data communications.
"The partnership with these two companies will give us an opportunity to deliver better services to our customers such as high speed internet, reliable network coverage and high speed data,” he explained during the signing ceremony at hotel Laico Umubano, last Friday.
The agreement will also allow Rwandatel share experience from the rest of the world and East Africa in delivering managed services to corporate clients.
This will be through the provision of special consultancy services to expand Rwandatel’s network architecture and performance.
Kariningufu said that this will enable the company solidify the dominance of the corporate network and voice communication space.
It was revealed during the signing that there might be a technological improvement in the 3G and GSM network if an audit shows the necessity.
Rwandatel offers voice and date communications solutions that include; fixed telephony, mobile telephony, ISP and data communications.
"In a few days our clients will be having better services in every service that we provide,” Kariningufu revealed.
The CEO of Seven Seas Technologies, Michael Machari, said that the company was qualified because it has the necessary experience, competency, skills and resources.
Seven Seas Technologies group is an international IT and technology solutions firm operating in four African countries that include; Kenya, Rwanda, and Uganda.
