Jean Claude Gasigwa, Dieudonne Habiyambere and Olivier Nkunda have all set their eyes on the upcoming Kenya and Tanzania East African money circuits.
The trio will represent Rwanda starting with the Kenya money circuit valued at $4,500 before proceeding to Tanzania for a similar tournament.
Some of usual big boys including the Kenyan trio of Allan Cooper (Kenya), Francis Rogoi (Kenya) and Gilbert Kibet (Kenya) together with Martin Dzuwa (Zimbabwe) are also expected to be part of the show.
Gasigwa, who enjoyed a remarkable run in the first edition of the money circuit early in the year, is eager to carry on with the excellent run.
"I have been training hard and hope that I will recover my form in these tournaments,” he said.
The 26-year-old top seed was left out of the Davis Cup team last month on grounds of indiscipline but says he is over that disappointment.
"Whatever happened is history and I am now focusing on the tournaments ahead,” he added.
However, Uganda’s tennis ace Duncan Mugabe is likely to miss the competition. The player is currently in Scotland taking part in the EGON Pro series.
Back in February, Gasigwa enjoyed a splendid run which included victories in the Kigali leg of the East African money circuit as well as the East Africa Tusker-Malt sponsored Uganda Open. He also reached the semi-finals of the KCB Kenya Open.
