They included the Director of Infrastructure, Albert Kubwimana, Finance, Harriet Furaha and Information Technology, Hellen Mukanzabandora.

The position was being temporarily occupied by the District Human Resources Director, Damas Higiro, who was among the nine candidates competing for the post but failed to make it. During the Friday function, other new appointments were announced.

The post of Directorate of Infrastructure was combined with that of Environment protection. It  was previously temporarily held by the district in-charge of environmental protection Emille Nyakagabo, while that of Finance was being occupied by the Revenue officer Benjamin Ndyayambaje.
