Rwanda Vs Cameroon 5:30 pm

Rwanda’s U18 women's team on Sunday takes on Cameroon in the pair’s last game of Group A of the ongoing FIBA Africa U18 AfroBasket in South Africa.

The game takes place at University of Pretoria gymnasium at 5:30pm.

Rwanda won the first game against South Africa but they later slipped to a narrow 74-71 defeat in the second game against Tunisia. This means that they need to win Sunday’s clash against Cameroon to increase chances of qualifying for the quarterfinals.

In an exclusive interview Times Sport, Rwanda's star shooting guard Brigitte Nibishaka, who has been among tournament’s standout performers so far, urged their supporters to rally behind them to keep them motivated to win the game.

Nibishaka is currently the best performer on the team with an average of 24.5 points per game.

According to the tournament’s format, the top two teams in each group, as well as two best third-placed teams, will advance to the quarter-finals.
