Gikundiro Album Launch Concert

Rwanda’s rising star Christiane Bukuru, known as Boukuru, is set to unveil her debut album "Gikundiro” this Friday, September 6, at Norrsken Kigali. The album features 11 tracks, with production credits to Michael Makembe, Flyest Music, Nehemiah Shami and Papi J.

The concert will also feature performances by Alyn Sano, Peace Jolis, and Impakanizi. Tickets are priced at Rwf10,000, Rwf15,000, and Rwf20,000. Doors open at 6 pm, so don’t miss the music!

The Silver Gala: A night of fashion, entertainment, giving back

Get ready for a night to remember as The Silver Gala brings together fashion, entertainment, and moments that matter, all for a meaningful cause. With surprise guest performances and a lineup of influential speakers, this glamorous evening will support efforts to uplift over 660 children and youth.

Notable names gracing the gala include Ghanaian dancer Lisa Quama Darko, UK dancer Beth Pearcey, and Nigerian singer Runtown, all joining Sherrie Silver in her mission.

The event will also feature powerful voices, such as Fred Swaniker, founder of the African Leadership Group and African Leadership University, alongside Rwandan music sensation The Ben.

Peter Gregory Obi, the former Governor of Anambra State in Nigeria, will make an appearance too. The gala will be held this Saturday, September 7, at the Kigali Convention Center Auditorium. While tickets are sold out, keep an eye on our platforms for live updates on the evening's highlights.

Rhythms of the Soul

For lovers of instrumental music, head to Century Park Hotel and Residences this Sunday, September 8, for a live performance featuring Cedric Mineur, the Afrozik Band, and other talented musicians from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

'Rhythms of the Soul' will take place at Billy’s Bistro & Bar, where you can enjoy classic tunes, jazz, and more. Entry is Rwf5,000 for general admission and Rwf10,000 for VIP.

Unasemaje? Screening

Docubox has funded 16 filmmakers to create eight compelling short films on Sexual Reproductive Health Rights and Justice, marking the launch of the East African Film Fund— the first of its kind in Sub-Saharan Africa.

This unique initiative provides an exclusive platform for East African filmmakers to explore and innovate in this crucial space.

Join in this Friday, September 6, at Atelier Academy from 6 to 8 PM for an evening dedicated to inspiring change and sparking important conversations about SRHRJ. Enjoy free entry, complimentary drinks and food, and a special screening of Unasemaje, one of the standout films from this project.

Portugal Day at Sud Kigali

If you're a fan of Portuguese culture, head to Sud Kigali this Sunday, September 8, for a taste of Portugal. The event will feature authentic Portuguese cuisine, a tournament of Sueca, a classic four-player card game popular in Portuguese-speaking countries, along with Bisca, another beloved card game. Bingo enthusiasts are also in for a treat.

Women's Diary Film Exhibition

Fine Arts Class by Gama Arts Rwanda

Gama Arts Rwanda invites children (7 years and older), teens, and adults to explore their artistic side with a diverse range of fine arts classes.

Whether you're interested in still life, indoor nature, outdoor landscapes, batik or textile art, mosaic, abstract, or imaginative compositions, there's something for everyone.
