Get inspired: Try voluntary activities

If one made a survey of people carrying out voluntary work in the world, one would definitely discover that it is the smallest number. Today we are more money minded; we always look forward to participating in things where we get bread to fill our tummies.

If one made a survey of people carrying out voluntary work in the world, one would definitely discover that it is the smallest number. Today we are more money minded; we always look forward to participating in things where we get bread to fill our tummies.

It takes a heroic heart to volunteer. Sherry Anderson says that volunteers don’t get paid, not because they’re worthless, but because they’re priceless.

Indeed there’s no price a volunteer can ever find on this earth. We all know that time is money, the time volunteers take in helping the helpless is non refundable.

For those who do not believe in volunteering take it as wastage of time or a lack of what to do. I believe that if it was not volunteering, Jesus wouldn’t come to redeem the world.

Volunteering is not wastage but a powerful tool for the strong and willed people to use as they resurrect the dead; I mean bringing joy and hope to the hopeless.

American writer and minister John Andrew Holmes said that there is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up.

The benefits of volunteering are not for an individual only but for the society also. Did you know that volunteering is a great investment..? You may not reap fruits now but find its blessing in the future.

Gorden B. Hinkley says that you will come to know that what appears today to be a sacrifice will prove instead to be the greatest investment that you will ever make.

With those few words, allow me to encourage you to volunteer. Volunteering is not a lack of what to do but a rewardable, important act that uplifts humanity.
