Elsewhere, Jojea Kwizera provided his fourth assist of the season as his club Rhode Island FC defeated Birmingham Legion 2-0. Teenager Luc Nterziryayo also made his league debut for Montreal Impact’s second team as they beat AS Laval 3-1.

In the Superettan League, Lague Byiringiro replaced Zidane Harletun in the 85th minute as his club Sandviken IF came from behind to draw 2-2 with Oster at the Visma Arena on August 31.
In the same Superettan League, winger Rafael York lasted 75 minutes for Gefle IF who beat relegation-threatened Skovde AIK 1-0 on Sunday, September 1.
In the third tier, there was no Kaleleo Wimbabazi in the Pitea IF squad which drew 1-1 with Karlberg while central defender Torre Rafael went out injured on the 38th minute and was replaced by Mohammed Youla as his club Orebro Syrianska drew 0-0 with Vasalund.

In the Eliteserien, Beltran Nishimwe was an unused substitute for Sandefjord who drew 1-1 with HamKam.
Josias King Furaha, who was the hero for FK Jerv last week as netted a brace against Floy-Flekkeroy, was not in their match day squad for week 19 as they drew 0-0 with Eik Tonsberg.
