Eight killed in bus accident en route to Rwanda

Eight people lost their lives in a tragic road accident on Sunday morning involving a public transport bus en route to Rwanda.

The accident occurred at 1 AM along the Kampala-Masaka highway in Uganda when a Jaguar bus, bearing the plate number UBP 964T, collided with a Canter Tipper, plate number UAV 988N, and overturned in Kalungu District.

By press time, The New Times had not yet established the identities of the victims.
