Reference is made to the article that appeared in The New Times Newspaper of Monday May 04, 2009 titled: "Senate, PSF table flaw in the PPP framework” which relates to a meeting that was held on April 29th, 2009 at the Private Sector Federation (PSF) headquarters with the Senate committee on Political Affairs and Good Governance, the leadership of PSF and some members of the business community.

The Board and management of PSF takes this opportunity to clarify that the views and opinions expressed in the article are those of the author and were not in anyway endorsed by the Management of the Federation.

The writer of the article, Mansur Kakimba acted with no official authorization from any of the senior officials of the Federation and as such did it in his capacity as a freelance Business Reporter contracted by The New Times.

And for that matter, we strongly regret all that was alleged of PSF and its officials. Also, I wish to clarify the fact that PSF shall at no single moment divert from using the various Public Private Dialogue (PPD) frameworks in place to seek solutions to challenges of the business community in Rwanda.

I wish to express the confidence and commitment vested by PSF in these frameworks. To all our dear partner institutions, please accept our sincere apologies for the inconveniences and damage this may have caused.
