The weekend is here and so we’ve highlighted the top recent releases trending in Rwanda that will surely make the coming days fun. Here’s our round-up of the best tracks and music videos.

‘Shawe’, Marina

Rwandan female singer Marina has done it again. A member of The Mane Music Label, marina made her debut on May 7 with the release of her new single ‘Shawe’ which is now making headlines in Kigali. The single, which is produced by Element, is nothing but a taste of what the Afro-fusion heavyweight has in store for fans this summer.

‘Agakanzu’, Jazzy

A new kid on Rwanda’s music scene is making rounds after the release of his single which has now taken over local airwaves. ‘Agakanzu’, which is produced in the afro-beat genre by Element Pro, is the first released track by Jazzy Muzika. His voice is proof that he is here to stay.

‘Kurura’, Bushali ft. Juno Kizigenza

Kigali’s finest, Bushali and Juno Kizigenza, are back with a surprise release which has already won the attention and admiration of many music lovers. Produced by Kozze, a new producer at Country Records, ‘Kurura’ is a Kinyatrap type of song which can be played everywhere.

It is already among the top five trending songs on different streaming online platforms in Kigali.

‘Joli’, Kenny sol

After parting ways with Igitangaza Record, Kenny Sol is now among the most loved artistes in Rwanda and the release of ‘Joli’ just proved that. The new video was directed by Simbi Nailla and produced by Element Pro.

 ‘Jojo,’ Platini P

Since he went solo, Platini P has been releasing only hits and this week he blessed fans with another banger dubbed ‘Jojo’.

‘Jojo’ was produced by Element Pro with final touches made by Bob Pro. It can be found on all online streaming platforms.

‘Bitinde’, Logan Joe ft. Og2tone

After blessing the world with ‘Tricky’, ‘Njyewe Utazi’, and ‘Whatever’, Logan Joe is back with a new release featuring Og2tone. This Wednesday he dropped ‘Bitinde’, which is among many other tracks that will appear on his debut album.

‘Amabanga’, B Threy

Like many upcoming artistes in Rwanda, B Threy has also joined the drill genre. His recently released song ‘Amabanga’ is produced by Nganji. It was also directed by Chico Berry, one of the best video producers in Rwanda.
