Five children who are undergoing rehabilitation at Gitagata Rehabilitation Centre, are set to be reintegrated into the society after they passed Primary Leaving Examinations for the 2023-2024 academic year.
The children will be reunited with their families in order to pursue their secondary school studies, the National Rehabilitation Service (NRS) said on Wednesday, August 28.

They were among more than 200,000 candidates who sat for the Primary Leaving Examinations.
The NRS is working with the children’s families and local authorities to prepare their reintegration, "so that they are able to continue their studies in schools where the National Examination and School Inspection Authority has placed them,” Jean Claude Kwitonda, the Communications Specialist at NRS told The New Times.
"They are all ready to be reintegrated into their families,” he said.
