The refurbished Petit Stade indoor facility has been confirmed among venues that will host betPawa Basketball League playoffs which tips off Friday, August 30, Times Sport has learned
The leaked playoffs fixture schedule that Times Sport has seen indicates that 1000-seater will host Games 1 and 2 for each of the two semifinal matchups, before the remainder of the tournament shifts to the BK Arena.
Patriots and Kepler will be the first to play at the facility which has not hosted basketball competitions since 2022 when it started undergoing facelift as part of extensive renovation works on Amahoro Stadium.
On the same day, APR will go head to head with Rwanda Energy Group in Game 1 at the same venue.
The Rwanda Basketball League semi-final phase of the payoffs will be played in a best-of-five series. The winners from each matchup will advance to the finals which will be played in a best-of-seven series, with a ticket to the Basketball Africa League (BAL) up for grabs for the champions.
