IKIRENGA ART AND CULTURE PROMOTION has announced the launch of the festival’s first edition scheduled for 18-25 June 18-25, in Musanze, Northern Province. 

Dubbed "Ikirenga Culture Tourism Festival” the festival is an annual cultural event that aims at bringing together people from different walks of life to experience and discover Rwanda through culture, language and natural beauty. 

Through artistic performances, visiting different touristic locations, and cultural exchange, the festival is a platform that promotes cross-cultural understanding and cooperation among countries, people and communities.

The festival’s first edition will include activities like traditional music and dances, live painting, food stalls, comedy, film screening, photo shoot and aircraft stalls among many others.

I hope for more partners to join us to promote Arts and Culture in Rwanda and expand to more significant artists worldwide”, says Pierre Hakizimana, Executive Director of Ikirenga Art and Culture promotion.

The event will leverage an all-around approach by bringing together different artists and stakeholders to engage in different culture exchange activities.
