After another successful edition of ‘Intore Sundays’, the organisers are not resting on their laurels and have already announced yet another interesting line-up for the next two months.

Intore Ent will in July stage one of its highlight performances of the year when it hosts Cameroonian-French music icon Julien Franck Bouadjie, best known as Tayc. It will be Tayc’s first performance in Rwanda.

Bruce Intore, the brains behind the show, announced that South African DJ duo, TxC, will also perform in the next edition of ‘Intore Sundays’ scheduled for June 5.

The next edition will also be a one genre party like the second edition where Amapiano was the only music style played in the show.

The event proved yet again that it is becoming as popular as ever, with Kigali’s middle class and expatriate community embracing it in equal measure.

The June, July editions are likely to be arguably the best by far considering that Txc are one of Africa’s greatest Amapiano disc jockeys on the continent and Tayc is with no doubt the most popular artiste in France at the moment.

Talking to Weekender, Intore the organiser of the show, says that the new event which takes place every first week of the month focuses on trends in showbiz industry which is why it’s considered the biggest party in the country at the moment.

For instance, he says, the use of Amapiano DJ is what boosted the previous edition over how the genre is trending and taking over globally.

"We have been organising events before, but this time we wanted something different where people meet, have fun and exchange ideas to develop while listening to good music. That’s how ‘Intore Sundays’ came to life,” Intore says, explaining the inspiration behind the event.

The monthly event is also headlined by the best local deejays such as Toxxyk, Pyfo, Kalex, Kevin Klein and many others.

Intore also reveals the return of Kivu Fest, one of the best beach parties in the country that attracts a big number of revellers from different areas of Rwanda.

It last took place in 2019 with Walshy Fire from Major Lazer as the main guest of the show.
