Renowned gospel singer Alexis Dusabe alongside Israel Mbonyi, Clever Papy, among others, will grace the Kigali Gospel Festival at car-free zone on May 20.
The festival is happening for the first time with free entry from 7pm-10pm.
The festival, organised by Alexis Dusabe, aims at bringing happiness and hope to people after the loneliness caused by the pandemic. The purpose of the festival as he puts it, is to see the Kingdom of God spread further than it has today.

According to Dusabe, the festival will be an annual event once it gets partnerships from different companies within Kigali City since the festival will be held in an open place. It is also a great opportunity to give a message about the gospel to a large crowd.
"We call upon gospel lovers to come in time for the show’s live performances from different musicians who will be present. We hope to welcome many people since it is easy for everyone who would like to come. I believe if the festival is free of charge many people will attend since our message is for everyone,” he says.
Dusabe is a gospel sensation who caught people’s attention back in 2005 after releasing his first album dubbed ‘Mfite Ibyiringiro’ became an instant hit. He then performed in different concerts in Rwanda and Burundi.
