Even when you love your job and it pays you pretty well, if your boss doesn’t know how to assist employees to manage their work, there is a possibility of getting stressed, overworked, and losing morale.

He adds that one shouldn’t try to impress their boss when they’re sure that the responsibilities are too much for them to handle, but instead, acknowledge the fact that you can’t accomplish many tasks and allow yourself to be assisted. 

Indoli explains that the mistake most employees make is to multitask, which is wrong because you can’t have the best results. 

He urges writing a to-do list, and following it to complete one task at a time. Doing one task first, and another next, doesn’t over exhaust you as much as working on different things at once. 

"Get rid of distraction because it will push your focus away, and thus end up using more time to carry out a project than planned,” says the marketing expert.

He further notes that if you notice that your supervisor accidentally gave you more work than others, ask them for help. 

Indoli notes to spare some time and offer credit to yourself for the projects accomplished as this will motivate you to even take on harder or more assignments. With time, you will be able to achieve your goals.

He says that sometimes work loads up as employees lack someone to encourage or appreciate their hard work, a thing that breeds laziness and lack of morale. But when you know how to celebrate yourself, you can easily revamp the energy and carry on your tasks well.
